We must give equal airtime to the other futbol...

Soccer! Laurel Ann is playing soccer for the first time -as are all of her teammates! They are the Bulldogs (guess what they're colors are!), and although they aren't the best team on the field, they are the most entertaining!

She's got the stance down. Now if she would only go after the ball when it's kicked towards her!

Not really sure what they're doing here...

My camera has died, so I've had to pilfer these pictures from friends' Facebook accounts. Hopefully I'll have more to post soon!

Are you ready for some football?!?

Well, we sure better be! Bradley started playing pad football this fall, and even though I was a little skeptical, he has really enjoyed it!

Here he is with his teammates, Wyatt and Blake, as team captains at their second game. I really like this picture. We missed the practice where they handed out red socks! BK was easy to pick out that game!

Here is BK on the O-Line (look for the black socks!) His Uncle Matthew- the origianl #76- spent a lot of time here as well!

They just look so cute!

In the huddle for some strategery! (If you think that's a typo, you don't know your SNL!)

Ready for kick-off!

Hydration is a good thing!

Fortunately, we've not had any major injuries and the team has only lost one game. All in all, they seem to be having a great time!

We're number one!

Well, we were the first confirmed case of flu for Ann Whitney Elementary, but unfortunately we're not the last.

Here is Bradley's pic from the waiting room at the clinic...

He is sporting the very trendy face mask that all the cool kids are wearing, and being the good mom that I am, I took a picture.

Fortunately, Bradley's case was fairly light with him only running fever for a day. He has had a lingering cough and sore throat and tires out easily, but he should be back in action on Monday. We are keeping our friends in our prayers who have also come down with the flu, praying for a speedy recovery and strength for the caregivers.
